How to add conversational data?

A) Which data?

Conversational data represents the raw material in terms of knowledge for your xBot. It is materialized in the form of questions and phrases that are used by your users who want to get information or action from your xBot.

If the definition and learning phase of your xBot went well, these questions and phrases should be detected as Intent and trigger the response scripts that your xBot learned in Athena © in the dialogue editor of the “Knowledge & Skills” page.

It is essential to check the quality of the input data, in order to guarantee the performance of your xBot. The phrases you inject into the portal should ideally cover all of your customer requirements within the perimeter you have defined. In addition, the richer the variety of expressions injected to express these intentions, the more your xBot will be able to understand your users.

To inject data into the artificial intelligence model of your xBot, you have several possibilities:

B) Add Sentences via the dialog box (Chat Box)

Through the dialog box you can:

  • Entering text in the portal dialog box

  • Perform a voice dictation (only via the Chrome browser) on this same portal dialog box

  • Inject voice data (only if your xBot is a voice xBot and has an associated phone number)

In addition, in some cases it is possible to provide you with a test interface, a clone of your website with a dialog box. This option allows you to more easily use your internal resources for the training and test phases by sending a simple url to your teams and allows your collaborators to familiarize themselves with the xBot.

NB: In all cases above, all the sentences that you will write during your conversations with the xBot will be recorded in the “Pending” page of the portal where they can be then classified in the correct Intention.

C) Injection of sentences via the “Intents” page

If you don’t want to use the Chat Box dialog box, you can add phrases from your customers directly to the most appropriate Intent in the “Intents” page of the portal.

You can classify the added sentences directly from this page.

For more details on the features of this “Intents” page, please refer to the « Intent Interface » page of our documentation.
